You did not give any quote from the article as appetizer, but you gave
a different subject or title to your message than the above linked
article. That one's title is:
»Why Israel Has No "Right to Exist" as a Jewish State«
That is quite different from declaring "why the Jewish State has no
right to exist". The author Oren ben-Dor put the "right to exist" in
quotes, you use the phrase without any qualification.
I think one should refuse categorically to be drawn into a discussion
about Israel's "right to exist" -- it is enough to state that it does in
fact exist, and that any state is a historical phenomenon which is
created and which will vanish, later or earlier.
Does it make sense to discuss about Argentina's "right to exist"?
Néstor will explain us that Argentina has to go under in a
latin-american united state. What about the Soviet Union's "right to
exist"? That of the Habsburg k-and-k monarchy? That of Checoslovakia?
That of the principality Greiz-Schleiz-Löbenstein?
Or the "right to exist" of the Alps, the Cordillera de los Andes, of
Greenland? There is no sense in such discussions.
I do also refuse to discuss a "right" to establish the state of Israel
as an ethno-religious exlusionary entity, it is enough to explain that
it is not a wise move for the Jews whereever they may live, it is bound
to create resistance to such a colonial-settler undertaking, and that it
is not feasable in the long run.
But adopting this nonsense of a state's "right to exist" means
especially in the case of the state of Israel to sink down to the racist
level they want to discuss the matter.
