[Psych3120] glaucoma

There was a question about what glaucoma was, I looked it up and apparently
it is a serious disease of the eye. It's characterized by high intraocular
pressure. I'm assuming this is why they blow air in your eye when testing
for it, so that the optomitrist can access how much pressure there is.
Results from the disease are a damaged optic disk, hardening of the eye ball
and partial or complete loss of vision.

I hope that helps the discussion.
