This is really good news!!  Thanks to Josh, everyone now has scanning capabilities to their own desktop.

If your name isn’t in the address book, you can use the manual address entry method.  Just touch Address Entry on the screen and put in the email address to which you want to scan, touch OK, touch TO, touch to go button, touch READ-END.  The scanned document will show up in your inbox.  There is a CC feature where you can send to more than one address.  I need to have Josh give me more instruction for that.

The copier is now setup to be able to use the scan to email feature.
I have added the current faculty & staff (based on the fcs website) to the address book.
You can still use the manual address entry method for any additional addresses.

SharpDesk software scanning

Request Description:

Who are the 10 users currently allowed to use the SharpDesk software for scanning? Would that be AA desk, Cheryl Wright, Heidi Baker, Jenny Stout, Ken Smith, Marissa Diener, Rob Mayer, Sandy Stark, Sandra Earl, Cathleen Zick? Other faculty are suggesting we either rotate or purchase additional licenses. Hmmm?

I would like to research the possibility of using a "scan to email" feature on this copier rather than have you purchase another scanner if it is not necessary. I will try to get this resolved next week.

Please take Heidi Baker off as a user. Marissa Diener had no idea she was a user. Marilyn finally found her name under ABCD (or whatever it is) and it didn't work. Cheryl would like me to check into buying a new scanner for 243. Who would I contact?
