Graduate students - Please plan to attend Brooke Adam's thesis proposal on
Wed., March 9th at 3:00PM in Rm. 220 AEB. Brooke is doing a qualitative
analysis of collective memory among the polygmous group living at the Yearning for Zion Ranch.
Please see the attached abstract for more information about her study. I strongly
encourage you to attend if possible - not only is it important to learn about the
research going on in the department and among other graduate students, it is also
an opportunity to support your fellow students and anticipate the types of questions
you might receive at your own proposal or defense. Thus, these proposals and defenses are
an important part of your graduate study. And this should be quite interesting!
