This is a notification of a planned interruption as a result of required service or repairs to equipment.
SYSTEM INTERRUPTED:
HTW To: Lower Campus
DATE:
Saturday November 5, 2011
TIME:
6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
AREA AFFECTED:
Heat, steam for heat, autoclaves & cooking, domestic and industrial hot water for sinks, showers and labs will be affected. The fans will be turned off in buildings in order to keep residual heat in the buildings. Building temperatures should not fluctuate greatly from a regular Saturday schedule.
PURPOSE:
Test and repair the electric automatic transfer switch on the heating system in bldg 0303
REQUESTER:
Campus Utilities - High Temperature Water Plant, Terry Walters 1-8101
We regret any inconvenience caused by this interruption. The time frame of this interruption is necessary to prevent further damage to equipment or a safety hazard to the building occupants.
Please notify all individuals on your staff who might be affected by this interruption. They may need to make special arrangements to carry them over this period.
If there are any questions or problems concerning this interruption, please call extension 1-7221.
