Bonnie Honig, Professor of Political Science and Modern Culture and Media at Brown University, will deliver the 2014 Neal A. Maxwell Lecture in Political Theory and Contemporary Politics. Professor Honig is the author of, most recently, Antigone, Interrupted (Cambridge University Press, 2013). She is also the author of Emergency Politics: Paradox, Law, Democracy (Princeton University Press, 2009); Democracy and the Foreigner (Princeton University Press, 2001), and Political Theory and the Displacement of Politics (Cornell University Press, 1993). Honig's lecture is entitled "The Fight for Public Things." Please join her November 20 at the Carolyn Tanner Irish Humanities Building (the Jewel Box, room 143), 11:00 a.m.
