Oh yeah.  I forgot to point out that academic commodity fetishism might have
a further marxist implication.  I cannot think of a system where the rules
Marx assumed would apply to commodities apply to actual discourse more than
the university system, the academic production system as it were.  Anything
you say can be copyrighted and sold here.  The whole fiction of discourse
"production" as such is made possible by intellectual property laws.
