CPUSA: Moscow's stooge -Reply

Not long ago there were some authors (whose names escape me)
interviewed on TV about their book revealing the connections between
CPUSA and USSR.  They were all acting really shocked and amazed, as
if to say "Wow, Mcarthy was right!"

One of my socialist friends in Salt Lake says "That's news?  Gimme a
break.  Everybody knew that."

Well, I didn't know, but I'm still new to this stuff.

The WSJ had a review of a book whose identity escapes me except that
it was published by Yale, which the reviewer claims "proves" that the
CPUSA was really truly Moscow's stooge. Anyone know the story on
this?
