If anyone posts this on a WEB site, kindly notify me by

Caution: Do not rely solely on E-mail communication to
Cuba, since technical problems persist.

According to information provided by the Institute of
Philosophy, conference rates are available at
Hotel Neptuno and Hotel/Motel Icemar (including transfer from
and to airport, to and from conference, sightseeing, breakfast
and dinner; all rooms with air-conditioning and TV; swimming)

At the time of this posting, only Marazul Tours had received
the necessary information from the Cuban tourist agency
Havanatur to accept reservations at conference rates. The
agencies in other countries should have this information
shortly. Marazul Tours has announced the following rates for a
one-week stay, September 17-24.

Neptuno $372 in single room, $282 in  double room;
Icemar $242 in single room, $192 in double room.
Round trip Miami/Havana/Miami $255 (does not include
   departure taxes of $45)
Visa fee $25
Reservation fee $25
Application fee for individual license from the U.S. Office
of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) $25
Marazul can also make separate arrangements for OFAC-licensed
travelers via Miami, Nassau, or Cancun.

Hola Sun and Caribe Sol offer air only Toronto/Havana/
Toronto and Montreal/Havana Montreal, respectively, with
departure Sept. 17 and return Sept. 24, for $CA399 ($US293)
and $CA439 ($US322), including airport taxes and visa.
