There seems a very eurocentric emphasis to this
discussion on dialectics. People are reducing
it to a means by which philosophers interpret
the world rather than a tool by which revolutionary
movements change it.

Why no mention of Mao and his On Contradiction, which
is a brilliant example of how dialectics can be
applied to the problems of revolutionary warfare?

It is only when philosophy is taken out of the
universities and put into the hands of the masses
that it becomes a material force changing the
world. Unless dialectics is used to guide politics,
it remains in the world of speculative academic
