Could you expand on this? Did this notion have any practical negative impact
on policy? We always rejected the idea that the SU had achieved 'socialism
of the whole people', particularly because it implied that the working class
no longer had a leading role in the construction of socialism. And it was
certainly preposterous that the SU was entering the beginning stages of
communism. Is this related? I must say I find your contributions fascinating
and informative.
