Doug Asks
----------
Historically speaking, how many successful violent revolutions have there
been? I mean real, protracted wars with scores of thousands of casualties?
And how many were the result of the collapse of a ruling order? The
Bolshies took power because of the latter. How many people were killed in
the Cuban revolution?

Obvious examples, China, Vietnam, Zimbabwe,
Jugoslavia and Albania.
Establishment of German workers state also involved
extreeme violence ind defeating forces of reaction
some 40 to 50 million casualties.
