The full title of the book is "Invisible Leviathan: The Marxist Critique
of Market Despotism beyond Postmodernism" by Murray E.G. Smith (U of
Toronto, 1994).

My copy of this book came in today at the Columbia bookstore and I've had a
glance or two. Now I know that Jim Williams gave the book something like
a B- or B, but I really like what I've seen so far. It appears to be a
very clearly-written, well-researched answer to the neo-Ricardians
(Sraffa, et al) with some powerful critiques of postmodernism and market
socialism for good measure. Who could ask for anything more? If
there is something better, let me know. I the meantime, I think I'm going to
put the Stephen King novel I've been reading on the shelf until I'm done
with Smith's book.
