Margaret Dewar's autobiography, called _The Quiet Revolutionary_
(published by BookMarks, 1989), is a text (like Marek Edelman's
[apologies for the incorrect spelling in yesterday's post]) that
deals with how people fought fascism. It is a fascinating and
concrete book.

It covers her childhood in Russia before the 1917 Revolution and her
activities as a socialist in Berlin, describing how it was for rank-
and-file workers to struggle during the rise of Hitler. It ends
around the time she fled to England in 1937.
