The CP - or CPs - have had their share of problems, to put it mildly, but,
Jesus, they weren't and aren't all scum. The leaders may have been
abominable, but the Communist masses did lots of good work creating a
working class culture in America in the 1930s. And the old dinosaurs cared
a lot about African-Americans when socialists and pwogwessives wouldn't
give them the time of day. Lighten up, Bailey.
