Louis:

While Adolfo will have his own reply to Kevin's somewhat hostile question
about why the PCP does not have the same positive image as the Zapatistas,
I would make a couple of points coming from where I stand.

First of all, Adolfo's presence on this list should be seen as an attempt
to convey the truth about the PCP to a rather broad milieu of Marxist
opinion. My willingness to take a second look at this struggle without
prejudice should be seen as progress on this front.

Something else that should help to open people's minds to the broader
theoretical questions surrounding the PCP strategy is Adolfo's reply to
Ralph Miliband. This piece appeared in installments on this list a few
weeks ago and is now available on the Marxism Web.
