As indeed they well should.  Russia despite all the economic  devastation
that it has suffered in recent years is a nation that continues to
have thousands of nukes at its disposal.  That is a fact that still
counts for much in this world.  One of these days, perhaps sooner rather
than later, there will emerge a new Russian leader, whether a Communist
or a nationalist who taking cognizance of this fact will be unafraid
of drawing the proper conclusions and to act upon them.  People
in the West have every reason for fearing the whirlwind that they
have been sowing over the past decade.
