I think that the Summit has been a success, not only for the Cuban
Revolution but for Latin America. And this is specifically what Fidel points
in his opening speech that Mac sended. An space for the iberoamerican
countries to discuss without the ominous presence of USA, Great Britan or
France is a vital necessity for us.
In the end, the final declaration was against imperialism and it was signed
by, among others, don Juan Carlos de Borbon, King of Spain, the crowned head
of the Empire that Cuba ended with its independence about 100 years ago.
Marti should smile.
And the mention of Fidel on the new crisis of paradigms (as the
postmodernist friends of Lou would say), so to say, the crisis of "the
unique thinking" and the fall of all the nonsensical hopes in the end of
history, indicates the way of the future. And Cuba is no more isolated. Its
latinamerican systers (nation in spanish is femenine) are with the heroic
