Interviews with Jim Craven and Roland Chrisjohn

The folks at Dark Night Field Notes ( kindly
transcribed some radio interviews with North American Indian activists Jim
Craven and Roland Chrisjohn on the problems of genocidal residential
schools in Canada, which have thrown the churches into a financial crisis.
As the schools were church-run, the survivors have rightfully taken them to
court. In one interview, Roland--a self-described pagan--said that if they
are morally bankrupt, there is no reason for them not to be financially
bankrupt as well. Another interview is with Doug Henwood, who also talks to
Jim about the residential schools and problems generally facing the First
