In the Danish Big Brother-program, the contestants recently escaped in protest of the
conditions. Their primary demand was to get more liquor and cigarettes, but as the
battle unfolded they demanded more privacy, visitors from outside and so on. Three
left for good, four came back. This could be a good example of how to win in hopeless
situations by relying on solidarity instead of individualist competition. Which is the
exacft opposite of what Big Brother type programs teach young (and other) people.
