I find it strange if people on the South African left are calling on
Pretoria to apply sanctions against Zimbabwe.  Shouldn't SA leftists be
fully occupied enough trying to expose SA's imperialist role in the
subcontinent (and beyond) and resisting the ANC's own capitalist agenda,
without exhorting the new political agents of SA imperialism to bring down
the Mugabe regime?

Doesn't anti-imperialism start at home?
