A very profound observation

En relación a Eric Mann on US walkout at Durban,
el 8 Sep 01, a las 9:26, Louis Proyect (citando a E. Mann) dijo:

> There can be no doubt that Castro's statement at the UN
> conference has galvanized a weak and often dispirited Third
> World. Some delegates may be comprador bourgeoisie, or
> Western identified, or complete sell outs. Some may be
> moderates, others revolutionaries. But they are all
> Africans, Asians, and Latin Americans. In their hearts, and
> souls, even if they don't have the courage, they want to see
> the U.S. get its ass kicked.

Whoever does not understand this basic truth will never, never, NEVER,
understand the essentials of national struggle in the Third World. Save for a
very tiny minority, most people here (even the traitors, even those one cannot
count on) are happy to see the superpowers under fire.

There are material reasons for this, material reasons that must be grasped if
one wants to be a serious revolutionary politician outside the core.
