Never mind that the IMF will never be subject to any real threat of change
until there is either a serious challenge to the order of things in Washington
from within the US or a serious challenge to US hegemony from a rival state or
alliance. A "global democratic movement" is neither, and as a phrase just
serves as cover for the absence of a democratic movement in the US, let alone
a revolutionary working-class movement.
