I totally disagree.  The quality of our lives will
increase many times over once we dump the bosses off
our backs and start running things for ourselves.
Unless one is speaking of high standards of living and
running MacDonalds chains all over the planet at the
same time.  I guess, it really boils down to what we
mean when we use the formula 'standard of living'.
There is SO much superluous labour being done now.
Reducing the work day alone will increase our
standards of living.
