What is uneconomic under capitalism does not become economic under socialism.

I prefer the notion of reducing the work week i.e.
everyone puts in their twelve hours a week doing the
necessary labour that they're good at.  If we don't
have enough doctors to accomplish this feat in the
medical field, we train more doctors.  So much of the
work being done today is "superfluous" in the sense
that it really wouldn't need to be done in classless
society.  It in fact, as Mark points out, leads us to
make the planet into an ecological dump.

We need to "dump the bosses off our backs".
