Immigration Facts:
* There are over 150 million migrants in the world today. The United
States receives less than 2% of the world's migrants on an annual
basis.
* As of March 2000, 10.4% of the U.S. population was foreign-born.
By comparison, from 1870 to 1920, the foreign-born population made up
approximately 15% of the total population.

"And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex
him. But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as
one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were
strangers in the land of Egypt." -- Leviticus 19:33-34
