Trotsky, Trotskyism and Beyond

This was the point I was trying to make.
It's unreasonable and a-historical to go
back 85 years in time, based on what
we know today, and find fault with a
leader for not knowing then what we
now know. The SWP had many faults,
but we do ourselves a disservice if we
look back and only see the negative.

In my post on the above topic yesterday
I neglected to mention that once the
environmental movement got under way,
Joe Hansen, to his credit, was quick
to see its significance and respond
accordingly. He initiated a regular
weekly column in Intercontinental
Press, which he edited, entitled
"Capitalism Fouls Things Up".
Joe was a major contributor to this column,
with its reports and commentary on
environmental issues and developments.
