CNN reporter

Good for you, Louis. I'd really hate to see some
of the things which have appeared on the list to
be passed on to CNN reporters who wouldn't be
likely to say nice things about the demonstration,
using as their excuse some of the less popular
political positions of the Workers World Party,
ANSWER and so on. We've seen far too much
of that, in my opinion. ANSWER is to be given
praise, support, solidarity and enthusiasm for
their work in building the anti-war movement.

It's a terrible shame that my former comrades
of the Socialist Workers Party have decided to
sit this one out, using the mobilizations solely
as places to sell their newspaper which tells
people these protests aren't what's needed!

And let me also say thanks for your commentary
and reporting on Turkey, too. It's more than I've
ever read about it today. Like Los Angeles, huh?
How much do the Turks pay for DSL, or do they
have DSL at home?

Is this Micheal Perleman the same one we knew
in the SWP for short time?

Best wishes,

Walter Lippmann

Just got off the phone with Dick Uliano, a reporter for CNN radio. We
were on the phone for about 15 minutes or so. He had been reading my
articles on the web and wanted to talk about the Ramsey Clark-WWP
connection. Basically, I gave him a lesson about need for a
non-exclusionary policy in the peace movement.
