I want to thank Jim F. for his post.  I hadn't thought of Steve Kelman for
ages, but Jim's precisely correct.  Let's not forget, however, that YPSL at
that time represented the worst in so-called State Department "socialism,"
nor that Mike Harrington engaged in similar red-baiting against Tom Hayden
and SDS when that organization was the youth affiliate of the League for
Industrial Democracy.

The roster of the 1960's YPSL reads like a "Who's Who" in neo-conservativism
today.
