Well, if it was always trash, the co-option would be too obvious, wouldn't
it? The delineating principal is always, whose interests do they serve. If
they serve to channel disatisfaction (or outright rebellion) into
non-threatening outlets (call your congressman!) but balk when a movement
threatens to topple the establishment, the answer is quite obvious. The
Nation, AFAIC, does nothing more than provide a left cover for a right wing
PLEASE clip all extraneous text before replying to a message.
