Terror war on Baghdad picks up steam

"As predicted. To the Shaab marketplace hit the other day, and the
criminal descruction of the TV station, add last night's hit on the
workers' housing complex, the destruction of the telephone exchange"

What are you talking about? Can't you see it was obviously Iraq's own
anti-aircraft artillery fire? Exploding bullets, you see. Sure, the TV
and in some cases power has been taken out, but that is all ultimately
the fault of the "doomed regime" too, apparently because it was winning
the propaganda war.

And haven't you heard the Fedayeen fanatics are shooting up 2,000
civilians in Basra? That's what the eminent British commanders say. The
officers on the ground say that isn't happening-but they are saying
civilians were shot at in some earlier incident. That must have been
when "the uprising" was raging across the city. At least, until they
changed their minds the next day and decided there was no longer any
uprising, just some "disturbances". This was confirmed of course by the
fact that the thousands of people leaving the city in search of food
returned to their homes the same night. It is further corroborated by
the absence of any footage, survivor reports, witness reports, or media
reports. And let's not forget to mention all the scenes of _other_
Shiites embracing the Brits in the south which have been liberated, like
umm qasr.
