One more thing...
I do not hold to a thesis that abstracts the global development and
expansion of industrial capital from the real history of that development.
But... the critical impact of this transatlantic trade, and this plantation
value production is not in terms of primitive accumulation creating, leading
to the fundamental social relation of that industrial property-- wage
labor and capital. It is in terms of feeding the fire-- pumping air across
the surface of the embers and throwing kindling on the coals of that
