[Marxism] "Iraqis fighting for their country"

On Democracy Now! Amy Goodman interviewed some talking mouths about The
Penatgon mystification of US casualties counts in Iraq, with the number
being actually around 10,000 or so as far as can be estimated at this
time. Around 600 Americans have been killed. In the process of the
program Goodman mentioned that over 10,000 Iraqis had been killed, but
that the number of Iraqi casualties was not available. Think about this
number:

Ten Thousand.

Think about this notion:

Incalculable.

Contemplate the effect of such concepts on a population. Would some be
affected negatively, perhaps? And try to strike back against the agents
of random death and wounding? (Remember the shrugging unconcern for
"collateral damage" expressed by American media after innocent families
blown to bloody bits in their sedans crossing the legendary rivers'
bridge?) Wouldn't those retaliators be seen as heroes by others who
shared such sentiments? As the roll of the ruined escalates, so too
will the role of the Vengeants
