And any enemy has to think that it is madness to invade a country like
this one. It is madness because they are going to experience what
occurred to Napoleon's troops in Spain; they went in but then they
couldn't get out. Or Napoleon in old Russia; they went in but then
they could not find a way out. It is easy to enter. But if they are
going to face a people like this one, if they face a people like this
one, it is later very difficult to get out of that problem.
