Fidel Castro to Answer to US President

Havana, Jul 25 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Fidel Castro
will answer to accusations by current US President George
W. Bush on July 26.

Dossier (Spanish/English): 45 years of US Aggressions
against Cuba:

The Cuban press said Saturday that in occasion of the
celebration of the National Rebelliousness Day, President
Fidel Castro would answer to "vulgar slanders" stated by
Bush against Cuba, in a speech delivered in Tampa on July

Cuban newspaper Granma highlighted the popular
concentration to take place in the central city of Santa
Clara, distant 167.8 miles away from Havana, as host of the
national activity for July 26.

A total of 30,000 people will reassert their commitment and
unyielding decision to face the slanders.

They will also reject the brutal and inhuman measures put
in force by Washington on June 30 to destroy the Cuban
Revolution, and impose a new social system to the Cuban

Regulations include destination of 59 million dollars to
finance subversive actions against the island, and another
18 million to foster illegal transmission of radio and TV
programs to Cuban national territory.

The diplomatic corp, representatives of political parties
from different countries, and delegations have been invited
to the concentration.

The Cuban province of Villa Clara was the winner of the
fraternal emulation for the host of July 26 this year, and
its main leaders will receive their corresponding flag and
a diploma.

In Santa Clara, capital of this province, there is the
place where the remains of legendary Cuban-Argentinean
guerrilla leader Ernesto Che Guevara and a group of
guerrillas fighting at his side in Bolivia, rest in peace.
