Thanks...and a short note to second this recommendation.  When it was
first aired on PBS, I think, I thought it was going to be a Civil War
documentary.  It was . . . after a fashion.  The piece was entirely
engaging, combining homecoming with his celebration of alienation from
modern life and politics.  Somehow, in that matrix, flashing images of
Sherman's one-sided military campaign waged on civilians and their
economy fit very nicely.

I look forward to seeing it again.
