Incidentally, talking about how to do something is not yet language.
Telling how one has done something is not yet language. Taling about
three things that one might do in a situation that one knows is not
going to occur is language.



CB: Yes, if I understand your point. The subjunctive mood, future
possibilities indicate planning. The real human difference is planning.

Humans distinguish themselves from other animals as soon as they begin to
plan their labor AND more importantly PLAN FOR THE LABOR OF THEIR CHILDREN

Secondly, language is quoting from dead people, organizing the society of
the living based on conscious relationships to dead people.
