Hugo Chávez spoke briefly at the airport in Havana before boarding a
flight to Jamaica. He discussed two new Bolivarian, internationalist
projects:

1) Together with Cuba, Venezuela will make possible the training of
200,000 new medical doctors from all over Latin America over the next
decade.

2) Venezuela will offer directly, without intermediaries, gasoline and
diesel to the most disadvantaged communities in the United States at
below-market, preferential prices.

No details of either initiative were immediately reported, but on the
latter one, we should remember that Venezuela's state petroleum company
owns a major chain of gas stations in the United States.

On Robertson's call for his assassination, Chavez said he preferred to
talk about life.
