Not only it is wrong.  By separating a distinct sphere of "economic 
life" and giving it autonomy as regards the whole complex set of 
production (which includes the production of concrete human beings, 
thus of a concrete culture) this tendency reinserts "Marxist" 
economic analysis into maintrend bourgeois political economy.
