[Marxism] Postindustrialism and the Mode of Information

Does anybody know of any good works (books or articles) critiquing the
notion that social oppression is no longer based on the exploitation of the
working class, but on the ruling class's monopoly of information and
communications? This 'theory' largely comes under the rubric of
'postindustrialism', so I would be interested in any articles dealing with
its insignificance.
