To get to the Brown University campus from the Bus Station, Kennedy
Plaza:

1. From Kennedy Plaza, Head Northeast.
2. Bear Right at Washington Place.
3. Continue on Waterman Street, Brown Campus is on your right.

       

>From the Bus Terminal (100 Gaspee St.):

1. From the Bus Terminal, head NE.
2. Turn RIGHT at Smith Street [go 0.1 miles]
3. Turn LEFT at WASHINGTON PLACE [go 237 ft.]
4. Continue on Waterman Street [go 0.3 miles], Brown Campus is on your
right.

*** Getting to the Conference ***

The Conference will be held at the Salomon Center [or Hall].

Once you reach 75 Waterman Street, on your RIGHT will be an ARCH [Faunce
Arch].
The Salomon Center will be the first building on your LEFT.

*** If you are arriving Saturday night, 04/22 ***

SDS organizers at Brown University are hosting a PIZZA PARTY at 8 pm on
the
first floor lounge of Hope Dorm on Brown's Main Green, SATURDAY NIGHT.

Meet other SDSers on Saturday night, at 8pm, for free pizza and cheap
beer in
the lounge of Hope Dorm, (also referred to sometimes as "Hope College")
on
Brown's Main Green.

NOTE: Housing assignments will be given out at the gathering.
      For those who need housing -
DON'T FORGET TO BRING A PILLOW AND BLANKET!

Hope Dorm is a red brick building on Waterman st. between the
intersections of
Prospect and Brown St. in Providence, RI, 02912. It's a 10-15 minute
walk
uphill from the train or bus stops downtown, where cabs are always
waiting.
FYI, it's about a $5 cab ride. NOTE: cabs wait only on ONE side of the
train
station. At Kennedy Plaza, the open-air bus station downtown, they line
up in
one corner near City Hall.

There will be signs up, but anyone should be able to direct you to Hope
College
Dorm. It's next to Faunce, the student union building. Call 401 374 7396
if you
have trouble.
