[Marxism] More idiocy from Iran

Louis wants us to believe that Iran is proposing the equivalent of
discussing whether the earth is round or flat, but neglects to include the
paragraph from the Times' article actually describing the conference:

"On its Web site, the institute said that the purpose of conference -- held
on the International Human Rights Day -- is to explore the Holocaust while
respecting Judaism and avoiding propaganda. Participants were invited to
submit their papers on a range of nearly 30 related subjects. Among these
are the nature of anti-Semitism, Jews in Iran and Islam, Zionism, gas
chambers (if they could be proven or denied) and on freedom of speech and
how the law treats those who deny the Holocaust."

Curious indeed is the fact that Louis objects to Iran exploring the
potential myth(s) of the Holocaust on the very day he presents us with a
post entitled "Pearl Harbor myths," revealing that often well-known "facts"
are not so factual. Not to mention that this is a list which has previously
discussed one very prominent Holocaust myth, admittedly a myth of omission
rather than commission, namely that the Holocaust consisted of the murder of
six million Jews full stop.
