I think what Joaquin is trying to tell you that without the support of
imperialism the "VICIOUS local ruling class" would be run over very
quickly by the workers and peasants.
So it is a mistake to put an equal sign between the two. And given the
oppressed nations bourgeoisie's penchant for national demagogy, it will
be the actual struggle for national liberation in *deeds*, not words,
not *exposures* by marxists, that will end in the working class leading
the oppressed nation to victory.
