Back in the early 1980s, when I first began to collaborate with Peter 
Camejo in the North Star Network, we were very enthusiastic about 
Bernie Sanders. In fact, a North Star activist from San Diego named 
Alan (can't remember his last name) wrote a book on Sanders.

Somewhere along the line Sanders became more interested in his career 
than in socialism. He is a totally unremarkable politician. Here's a 
wonderful piece on Sanders by the late Will Miller, a philosophy 
professor at the U. of Vermont who was an erstwhile Marxmail subscriber.
