list culture (on all, not just this list) is largely shaped by the
relative few who post the most often...by and large, the content
(mostly opinions, often judgements, sometimes - quite rarely on mosts
lists, in my opinion - analysis)...

thus, if one had familiarity with a lister's musings, one would have a
sense of the content of said lister's post/s on subject at hand before
reading them (in fact, that might be sufficient reason to hit the
delete button)...

the *revolutionary* positions - vote minor party, support only
socialist candidates, abandon electoral road entirely - have no
resonance outside of, well, of course, the *revolutionaries*
themselves...other positions held by folks on this list (or other
*left* lists) ranging from strategic voting for dems in certain
elections to supporting dems as lesser evil (evil lesser?) alternative
to entryist attempts at mvoing dems to the left to whatever else is
*reformist* have little more (if any at all) resonance to most folks
outside the liberal progressive (or is that progressive liberal)

so blather on garths (yes, the plural, garths), ain't gonna make any
difference anyway... mh
