	At this point, the reports suggest that Ortega has met the 
benchmarks and won although polling significantly below the combined 
total of the two official rightwing parties. Does anyone have any 
insights as to why the US was unsuccessful in getting that Right to 
unite? It's said that they tried, but when they really want to try 
something like this, they've succeeded in the past. So, why the 
spectacular failure there (while at the same time the trumpets blared 
about how they were going to throw Daniel into the briarpatch)? Was 
it that they underestimated Ortega and were counting on 2nd round unity? Or....
