Strictly on the third party effort, we need the broadest third party effort
we can mobilize. Any attempt to restrict this to organizational
considerations is misplaced. So, I think, are attempt to restrict the range
of acceptable alternatives to preoccupations over abstract labels.

The very important recent trend of blacks and Hispanics turning to the Green
Party as a vehicle for expressing their grievances is extremely important
and more exciting than any email preaching to the choir about racism. I
have not yet heard that Cynthia McKinney has declared a bid for the Green
presidential nomination.  Anybody heard anything?

Cindy Sheehan's campaign must be supported by the district's Greens, Peace
and Freedom, etc. Any parties that don't have no political sense and should
be regarded as chess clubs with a "socialist" label.

As I've argued earlier, we have several points on which public opinion
favors progressive positions that the two parties do not.

* End the Iraq War Now
* Socialized medicine
* Full Amnesty for the Immigrant Workers
* Health Care for the Planet
* Abolish secrecy in government
* Free and fair ballot

These should be key points for any campaign.

Solidarity!
