they can't work in a united front with other left groups, that's a problem."

I don't think their capacity to work with organizations from oppressed
minorities should be exaggerated either. Among important sections of the
immigrant rights movement, ANSWER is radioactive. It is enough to know that
they are involved for people to give an event a miss.

BTW, don't expect a lot of explanations for why this is so. The attitude of
most experienced Latino immigrant rights leaders is not to get involved in
the disputes of the white left.

My advice for building a serious antiwar movement would be to disband the
existing coalitions and start over, banning the participation of the major
leaders of the existing coalitions.
