>Sound familiar? Iraq, of course, is the latest western adventure that
>conjured up a Hitler-like dictator, a new brand of (Islamo) fascism, with
>alleged genocides around every corner. You don't need an international court
>to tell you that when a nation is demonised as guilty - whether to justify
>intervention or to make the west look like the world's saviour - there will
>be brutal consequences. Carnage and chaos for the innocent are sure to

Claire Fox is associated with spiked-online, a libertarian outfit
that espouses GM crops, nuclear power, turning the Amazon rainforest
into toothpicks, etc. They used to put out a magazine called LM that
went under after they lost a libel case revolving around their
assertion that an alleged Serb concentration camp in Bosnia was
nothing of the sort. This was when they were still nominally Marxist.
Before this, the magazine was called Living Marxism and they were
organized as the Revolutionary Communist Party. As Christopher Marlow
put it in "The Jew of Malta": "But that was in another country, And
besides, the wench is dead."
