[Marxism] Nuclear accident impact underestimated

Interesting only in that there were more people effected than originally thought, 50 years ago. 
Fortunatly, no one builds expermental reactors like that anymore.

An original US Army "portable" reactor...built on a flat-bed truck, back before the British accident, had a "hand operated control rod". Small reactor, one control rod. The operator accidently pulled the control rod out (or in?) to fast, causing a heat build up too quickly, which blew out the control rod, impaling the poor man to the roof. Only known US casulty from a nuclear reactor. Like I said "they build 'em better now".
